DuPont Microcircuit and Components Materials (MCM) business announced the launch of 5881, a Silver/Silver Chloride (Ag/AgCl) conductive ink/paste for healthcare applications.
Remote patient monitoring is a growing need that leads to demand for increased reliability and accuracy of devices that measure patients’ most critical health vital signs throughout the day; including heart rate, respiratory function, and blood glucose levels. DuPont MCM’s 5881 conductive ink (also called a thick film paste) was designed with healthcare applications like these in mind. Its excellent conductivity and low electrode polarization allow manufacturers to design devices like skin patches and continuous blood glucose monitors with a high rate of electrical feedback, helping to give patients accurate health information.
