Today, NOFFZ Technologies proudly announces the launch of its innovative High-Speed Data Switch (HDS), an advanced differential switch in the realm of product testing. The HDS introduces a centralized data source/sink mechanism, streamlining testing processes for various high-speed interfaces such as Automotive Ethernet, Automotive SerDes, PCI Express (PCIe), Video, USB, and other differential signals up to 12Gbps.
Traditionally, product testing necessitated multiple sinks or sources (ie. video frame grabber/generators), resulting in complex setups and increased costs. However, with the HDS, companies can connect multiple Devices Under Test (DUTs), such as automotive cameras, ECUs, and displays to a single test instrument via the high-speed switch. This innovative approach optimizes costs and real estate in test racks while enhancing overall efficiency.
Key Features and Benefits:
- Supports a Wide Range of Interfaces: The HDS supports Automotive Video (FPD-Link III, FPD-Link IV, GMSL2, GMSL3, APIX, GVIF, ASA Motion Link), Automotive Ethernet (100BASE-T1, 1000BASE-T1), SB 1.0/2.0/3.x, PCIe, HDBase-T, and MIPI A-PHY, ensuring compatibility with diverse testing scenarios
- Efficient Data Handling: With support for data streams up to 12 Gbps and bidirectional communication, the HDS facilitates seamless data exchange between devices, enhancing testing accuracy and speed
- Easy Integration and Control: The HDS can be controlled via Ethernet and offers an intuitive web GUI for easy access; additionally, API support for .NET, LabVIEW, and TestStand streamlines integration into existing testing environments
- Flexible Mounting Options: To accommodate various setups, additional parts such as 19 in. 1HE mounting panels and mounting brackets are available, ensuring versatility and ease of installation.
The launch of the HDS underscores NOFFZ's commitment to innovation and excellence in the field of testing solutions. With its unparalleled features and capabilities, the HDS Platform is set to redefine the standards of efficiency in modern testing procedures.
The HDS products can also be combined with another NOFFZ innovation, the Automotive Video Deserializer (AVD): With the HDS, for example, several differential high-speed video lines can be switched to a single AVD (deserializer) and the image tested with a low-cost DisplayPort capture device.
