Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) today announced the N7018A Type-C test controller, which enables unfettered automated validation of USB 3.1, TBT 3, and DisplayPort over Type-C, and is a key component of Keysight’s high-speed validation systems. The N7018A can set contracts up to 100 watts and set devices into alternate modes (DisplayPort and Thunderbolt).

Tektronix, a leading worldwide provider of measurement solutions, today introduced the new DPO7OE1, a calibrated optical probe and analysis software for use with real-time oscilloscopes. It is optical reference receiver (ORR) compliant for 28-GBaud PAM4 applications and supports IEEE/OIF-CEI standard specific measurements.

(NYSE: KEYS) today announced a solution to characterize magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) for spin transfer torque magnetoresistive random access memory (STT-MRAM) to overcome challenges of conventional rack and stack base test environments. Keysight’s new NX5730A High-Throughput 1 ns Pulsed IV Memory test solution is a dedicated solution for researchers and engineers struggling with the characterization of MTJ devices on silicon wafers.

Analog Devices, Inc., which recently acquired Linear Technology Corporation, announces the LTC4418, a dual input power prioritizer for 2.5V to 40V systems. To enable portability, preserve memory during brownouts, and ensure a graceful shutdown on power loss, electronic systems employ batteries and capacitors for backup power. The LTC4418 normally powers the load from the higher priority main supply such as a wall adapter or main battery, switching to the backup supply—typically a battery or large value capacitor—during primary brownout or power loss conditions.

Nano Dimension Ltd., a leader in the field of 3D printed electronics (NASDAQ, TASE: NNDM), today announced the commercial availability of the DragonFly™ 2020 Pro 3D Printer. With the DragonFly 2020 Pro, many of the complexities and bottlenecks inherent in printed circuit board (PCB) prototyping are removed, allowing companies involved in developing electronics to take control of their development cycles and realize the benefits of fast, secure and cost-effective agile electronics development. Designers and engineers can now innovate rapidly from proof of concept, through design validation to test fixtures, by 3D printing their own multilayer PCBs.

The Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information at the University of Innsbruck, Austria has chosen a Spectrum Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) to generate a wide variety of signals for their research.  Because of the variety of experiments that it would be used for, it was important to have an AWG that is easy to program using a PC so that the output could be easily customised to each use.  A Spectrum Instrumentation M4i.6631-x8 was selected because, being on a PCI Express card, it could be incorporated into a PC and directly driven by it.

Passive Plus, Inc. (PPI) now offers Tin/Lead termination for the Traditional High Q/Low ESR line of capacitors. PPI’s Tin/Lead plated termination is composed of 90%Sn 10%Pb solder (SnPb 90/10) over a nickel plating. All parts meet or exceed MIL-PRF-55681 and MIL-PRF-123.

Analog Devices, Inc., which recently acquired Linear Technology Corporation, announces the LTM4651, a nonisolated inverting output µModule^® regulator that can generate –26.5V to –0.5V output from a positive input supply voltage. The LTM4651 operates over a 3.6V to 58V input voltage range and is housed in a 15mm x 9mm x 5.01mm BGA package, a compact solution, providing –5VOUT, –12VOUT, –15VOUT and –24VOUT from industrial standard 5VIN, 12VIN or 24VIN supplies.
