Signal Hound began with the goal to design compact, lightweight, and inexpensive spectrum analyzers that provide unparalleled value. They achieved that goal when their first spectrum analyzer (USB-SA44) was introduced in February 2010. Since then, Signal Hound has regularly added free software upgrades and innovative new models to their offerings. Signal Hound’s latest product, the BB60C, is a broadband real-time spectrum analyzer and RF recorder that captures and displays RF events as short as 1 µs. It has selectable IF streaming bandwidths from 250 kHz up to 27 MHz. The BB60C is a lightweight, portable, and affordable USB-powered RF spectrum analyzer that operates accurately, from 9 kHz to 6 GHz, over its entire temperature range, from -40°C to +65°C standard or from -40°C to +65°C extended (Option-1). It is well suited for capturing intermittent events in addition to performing complex, remote, and/or automated functions.
