Signal Integrity Journal Webinar Series
Title: Ten Signal Integrity Rules of Thumb I Use Every Day
Date: May 18, 2023
Time: 8am PT / 11am ET
Sponsored by: Teledyne LeCroy
Presented by: Eric Bogatin, Prof – Univ of CO, Technical Editor – SIJ
Abstract:
Sometimes, an OK answer NOW! is more important than a good answer late. When you just want a quick idea, a rough estimate, just a feel for the numbers, a rule of thumb is a powerful method of getting a rough estimate with little effort. It should not be used to sign off on a design, but it can be used to help feed your engineering intuition. I have over 100 rules of thumb I use, but only some of these I use on a daily basis. I will present and review my top 10 rules of thumb I find most useful.
