Anritsu Company will solidify its position as a global leader in optical testing technology by highlighting its advanced solutions for high-speed emerging designs at OFC 2025, to be held March 30 to April 3 in San Francisco. In its booth (#3118) as well as in technology partner booths throughout the show floor, Anritsu will demonstrate leading-edge methods and approaches to verify every level of the optical network ecosystem.

“OFC will bring together leaders in the optical market who will be displaying technologies to address the speed, bandwidth, and reliability needs of today’s networks. Anritsu looks forward to partnering with many of these innovative companies to highlight our test solutions that provide the high-end performance required to verify today’s leading-edge optical component, transceiver, and equipment designs,” said Keith Even, national sales general manager, Anritsu Company.

Advanced Testing Solutions for Emerging Applications

In booth #3118, Anritsu will have demonstrations highlighting test solutions that support multiple applications, including subsea fiber, optical devices, high-speed interconnects, and more.

  • Subsea Fiber Characterizations – Anritsu’s Coherent OTDR MW90010B can detect faults in submarine cables up to 20,000 km within a wide wavelength range of 1527.60 nm to 1567.13 nm. Its wide dynamic range enables submarine cable fault detection and troubleshooting of repeaters at intervals of 80 km or more.
  • Characterizing High-speed Opto-electronic Devices – The  VectorStar™ ME7848A Opto-electronic Network Analyzer with 145 GHz O/E conversion modules is a wideband measurement system. It can characterize silicon photonics and photonic integrated chip transmitters and receivers, modulators, lasers, photodetectors, and TOSA/ROSA/BOSA/COSA, whether in component form, die, or on a wafer.
  • End-to-end Network Performance – The Network Master™ Pro MT1040A supports 10 Mbps to 400 Gbps networks with a virtualized measurement function, FEC analysis, OTDR integration, automated testing, and validation of 400ZR/400ZR+/OpenROADM transceivers. The analyzer ensures optimal signal integrity, latency, and throughput across diverse network environments.
  • USB-powered mmWave Analyzers – Simple, numeric, and frequency selective average RF power measurements from 9 kHz to 110 GHz and power coverage as low as -90 dBm can be made with ultraportable Power Master™ MA245xxA.
  • 800G Silicon Photonics Test – Anritsu’s Signal Quality Analyzer-R MP1900A and BertWave™ MP2110A 4-channel sampling oscilloscope support multiple emerging applications. They can verify high-speed interconnects, such as PCIe Gen1 to Gen6; Thunderbolt 3; USB 3.1, 3.2, 4.0; IEEE 100/200/400GbE; CEI-25/28/56/112G; InfiniBand EDR/HDR; fiber channel; optical module; SERDES, and AOC.
  • 400G ZR/ZR+/OpenROADM rOSNR Test Solutions – The MT1040A and MS9740B Optical Spectrum Analyzer can each be used for comprehensive required Optical Signal-to-Noise Ratio (rOSNR) testing.

Technology Partner Demonstrations

Anritsu’s MT1040A has also been chosen by market leaders to showcase leading-edge technologies in their respective booths. The portable tester will be part of demonstrations focused on advancing optical networks, as well as other applications.

It will be used by the Ethernet Alliance in booth #5173, Optical Internetworking Forum in booth #5745, Innovative Optical and Wireless Network (IOWN) Networking Hub in booth #5029 and IOWN Global Forum in booth #5489, and Huber + Suhner in booth #3032. The OpenROADM/University of Texas at Dallas (booth #5128) will also be part of a demonstration featuring the MT1040A in Anritsu’s booth.
